Nasty Women - Stroud

  • The Marshall Rooms 27 Nelson Street, GL5 2HH Stroud, Gloucestershire (map)

This event will be a celebration of art, music, performance and a march through the town - raising money for an international women's charity that works towards a world free from female genital cutting.

To kick off the Nasty Woman Exhibition and to get the whole town involved. Live performances from the finest acts Gloucestershire women have to offer will create a spectacle on the Subscription Rooms forecourt from 2pm. Afterwards the assembled crowds of Nasty Women and gathered supporters will march against misogyny through the town and up to the Marshall Rooms for an auction of incredible art plus more entertainment!

Auction 7pm

I have donated two prints to this auction.

*Don't forget to bring your placards signs and dress up for the day!*

Music will be provided by Vajazzle Dynamite with more TBA, plus entertainment from Syren Alternative Bellydancers, Flashcandy, circus performers and poets!

ABOUT NASTY WOMEN

Nasty Women is a global art movement that serves to demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women’s rights, individual rights, and abortion rights. With over forty fundraising art exhibitions taking place around the United States and abroad, Nasty Women Exhibitions also serve to support organizations defending these rights and to be a platform for organization and resistance.
