Twelve colour screenrpint

This print plays with the notions of orientation and can be viewed from any aspect. I began by collecting and drawing games pieces from the games that no longer get played so much as they have been usurped by digital versions and new online games. They are becoming nostalgic and evoke a fond response. The drawings are digitised and tidied up before the twelve colour separations are converted to positives to make the screens for the print. Moving back into the analogue process, each screen in turn is registered and printed with the final key line of black being the twelfth and final layer. The short video shows my joy at successfully aligning the dozen layers.
